On this site we present to you everything that you can find only in Friuli Venezia Giulia, one of the most unique regions of Italy and Europe, not only for the surprising variety of its landscapes, but also for an original civilization that has been able to harmonize the eccentricity of the Celts with the practicality of the Romans and the emotionality of the Slavs, in the solid framework of the rational Lombard culture.

The richness of the Friulian territory and civilization can be perceived in our symbolic illustration of Typical Friuli which synthetically depicts the multiplicity of natural environments, from the sea to the mountains, and the various typologies of historical dwellings, which well represent the mosaic of the regional identity developed in more than a thousand years only thanks to the moral strength of the Patriarchate of Aquileia (whose 'basilica' is depicted as a point of reference and diffusion).

All this on the civil foundations built over two hundred years by the Lombard Dukes in the four provinces of the region, as our stylised version of the famous "Iron Crown", symbol of the Lombard people, intends to depict.     The 'iron' crown of the Lombard Dukes (kept in the Cathedral of Monza) and the banner with the eagle, symbol of the religious and political government of the Patriarchate of Aquileia.
